Ventilated Shrink Film

Heat shrink wrap often must be ventilated ( perforated ) for air evacuation after sealing on an L-bar sealer. This can be achieved by a perforating wheel or with pre-perforated vented shrink poly film.

Many collation shrink bundled items require rapid cool down to avoid sweating, condensation. A ventilated perforated shrink film is necessary to rapidly dissipate heat and humidity.

To create placed pathways for heat and humidity to escape, the solution can range from small holes to shrink film with microperforations or “macro” perforations.

We will work with you to develop the lowest cost vented shrink film to avoid loss due to spoilage. Chances are we can offset the cost of ventilated shrink film with downgauging and reduced transverse direction shrink.
