PACKAGING
Most of our products are used for some form of packaging. Because we have historically catered to the exacting standards of printers, laminators and bag manufacturers, our industrial films have consistently good performance.

SHRINK BUNDLING or CASE WRAP
We manufacture shrink films for unitizing, most commonly for trays of cans or bottles.
We sell net weight and honest yield, so you pay only for the film and not tare weight.
Both our standard industrial and clear retail versions have a minimum transverse direction (TD) shrink compared to most films on the market. By using a narrower film, a cost reduction can be achieved. A percent eliminated is a percent saved. |

Here are some examples of our shrink bundling packaging. For more information please contact us. |
biodegradable film is commercially available as of May 1, 2007 Films are made to accomodate the wide variety of shrink tunnel systems. Contact us with the specifics of your application.
VERTICAL FORM / FILL / SEAL Product is dropped into a bag made from continuous sheeting. Monolayer films must utilize “impulse” sealing jaws; “resistance”, or constant heat jaws require an outer layer which does not melt as quickly, or “resists” the heat from the jaws. Our films can be used either way; for “resistance” applications our film is the “sealant” web of the laminate. We have several grades with excellent cold temperature stability for individually-quick-frozen ( IQF ) foods.
VERTICAL BAGGERS Several machines take seamless narrow width tubing and create a bag by placing a seal in the cross direction. The part is dropped into the pre - made bag.
“L” SEALER Requires “centerfold” film to create a bag using a seal bar shaped like the letter “L”. Can be shrink or non – shrink.
LAMINATION SEALANT LAYER We provide what is known as the "sealant layer" of a lamination defined as combining two dissimilar films ( substrates ) with adhesive. The outer layer is most commonly polyester, nylon or polypropylene ( PP ). When heat is applied by the sealing jaws, the polyethylene ( PE ) sealant layer starts flowing and caulking before the outer layer. Our standard and custom sealant layers are matched to the end product. All are FDA, Kosher approved and have minimal odor and taste transfer. For example, we have films which will seal through contaminants such as dust and liquids. Others will seal and stand up to residual heat from pasteurization, or "hot fill". All sealant layers are designed to be as forgiving as possible to prevent "channel leakers" |
